Question Privacy Error Spotlight

I keep getting an error where I can't an external disk to the privacy area. Only doing this so it will reindex. No other externals cause this error. Just this one. Its a 1T HDD.

Privacy List Error.

I may have figured it out. It was a TM but I have made a partition on the same drive and it is being accepted by the spotlight privacy area.
