I've been having some issues with my Logitech Quickcam lately. It was working fine up until about halfway though last week. It started with it finding a software update and when I installed it the camera didn't work.

I tried reinstalling the non updated programing and still nothing.

The my laptop reads the Camera as fine when it plugs into the USB port but none of the programs, not even the main Quickcam program reads the Camera. It keeps asking to reconnect my camera and when i try I get nothing but the same screen.

I've tried reinstalling it the right way and even the install program will not read the camera as being connected. If it does I get no video what so ever and the camera doesn't even turn on.

I usually use the camera with my yahoo or msn but they don't read the camera as there either though the computer does.

I Run Windows EXP Home edition.

If you can help I'll greatly appreciate it.

Solved: I reformatted the hard drive. Apparently this old hand-me-down computer wasn't able to read the software properly because there was to much junk and the DVDROM/Burner was on the fritz again as well.
