So i was trying to fix a computer and i tried everything it seems as if the motherboard does not work and when i check the processor it was bent

i tried a am2 socket processor in the broken motherboard and it did not work so i found out it was not the processor even though it bent it was defintely the motherboard which means i will need to replace the motherboard and cpu right???

note : is there anyway to fix the processor if pins are bent?

Solution
How do you know the motherboard is broken?
It is possible to straighten the pins on a CPU but it is a very delicate thing to do. I've snapped a pin off trying to straighten out bent pins before so i suggest EXTREME care if you are going to try it. Good luck!
