I'll be getting all of the parts in the next 2-3 weeks, I changed some things with it recently so I thought I'd get some more feedback on the build. I'm not interested in overclocking, but the aftermarket cooler is for lower noise. Another note, I'll either be getting that EVGA PSU or a 550W Seasonic S12G. Right now, it mainly depends on which one is in stock when I order.

So, what do you think could be improved slightly, or tweaked?

the 750w evga psu is WAY more than you need. the seasonic 550w is plenty or i also see the xfx TS 550w gold+ for about 50 pounds on amazon uk. this is also a solid psu and will be plenty of power as well.

other than that, the rest looks solid to me. i'd say you're ready to pull the trigger and order you a new build :)

What about the XTS series? If this is around the same quality I might get that, I'd rather have a modular PSU really (the Seasonic G series was way too expensive compared to others).
I realise the EVGA PSU was overkill, but it was only around £20 more than the Seasonic so I thought why not, haha...

Overclocking is going to help you out when your CPU is no longer good enough by Itself. You don't have to overclock it right now, but it could prove to be a savior in the future.

I suggest you to go with that build even if you take the 450D case. It's only for the good to be fair. Your choice.

(Made a small change in the build by choosing a better power supply, 650w for headroom).

NZXT S340 isn't the worst either:

did not realize you were looking for modular. cheapest/best i see right now on partpicker is the silverstone strider gold. i changed your build to show it. the xfx modular is just as good and worth it as well for a few bucks more.

Alright, thanks. I think I'll stick to the 450D, I just prefer it in general. But I'll still consider that cpu/mobo setup, I just don't want to screw things up by overclocking, y'know?
