problem accessing my external hard disk

i have a seagate external hard disk. i am not able to copy or delete files in the hard disk. it says that i need the administrator's permission to do so. please help me solve this.

Are you logged in as an Admin, or are you able to log in as an Admin? If so, try right clicking file explorer and running it as Administrator.

You can try to take ownership and grant permissions afterwards.
