Hello there,

Ok, I recently tried to overclock my GTX 960 and after much research. However after completing the overclock I didn't see much difference. In one instance the overclock actually decreased my score in Valley Benchmark. So I decided to stop and reset the gpu to defaults.

The problem began minutes later when I noticed a 30 FPS drop in The Battlefront Beta, from a solid 60 to 30. I ran Valley Benchmark again and my score had dropped from 1642 to 1587.

Im assuming something went wrong during the overclock.
I didn't touch the voltage, and the overclocks I tried never crashed or showed artifacts.

Any Help would be appreciated sorry for the long post.

Sometimes overclocks can cause a GPU to thermal throttle, seems odd that would have an effect after resetting the clock. Make sure your overclocking software is not set to turn on when Windows starts, turn off your PC, reseat the GPU and start up again.
