I recently purchased a Dell Latitude E6430s laptop. I had to replace the HDD and cmos battery. Decided to install Kubuntu 22.04 since it originally came with Win 7. The machine would only let me install linux in legacy mode but would give me a "Invalid partition table" When I tried booting in uefi I got:

"Time-of-day not set - please run SETUP program
To continue press F1 key
To change setup option press F2 key
To run onboard diagnostic press F5"

If I set boot order to uefi and corrected the date/time it would boot to the Kubuntu desktop but would give me the "Time of date not set" again when I'd try using the laptop another time. Do you have any ideas? Thanks.
