Question Problem Connecting two LSI 16i SAS Cards

Hello,

I have a problem with trying to run two LSI 9201-16i cards. The second PCI-E x16 slot detects the second card but the LSI Bios says that it's inserted into PCI-E slot "ff" (According to the bios this means invalid slot). Is there any way to get it to run the card? It's already detected by the BIOS which means it must physically be connected right? I tried running just one card in that slot but it doesn't help.

Biostar X470GTA Motherboard
Ryzen 2200G CPU
4G Patriot Viper RAM
128GB Patriot Scorch PCI-E NVME m.2 Boot drive
x2 lsi 9201-16i
EVGA 1000W GQ Power Supply

Are you on the latest BIOS for your motherboard? You might want to also see if the cards you've got aren't hindered on a donor system. I'm concerned about the lanes on your platform more than anything actually.

Some OS require the card to be flashed to version P20. The reviews explain the how to do it.

This is just a listing for the card. Where does it say anything about flashing P20 firmware?

P20 Firmware did not help.
