Problem Dual Installing Windows 10 and Ubuntu.

Hi,

I recently tried to install Ubuntu alongside Windows 10, but during the installation process Ubuntu completely froze. I had to restart my PC and try installing it again but when I loaded up Ubuntu there was no option to install it alongside Windows, just the option to erase all data from the Drive. Any idea on how I can still install both?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Such things tend to evolve or otherwise change very quickly.

My recommendation is to google "dual booting linux and windows 10" with a time search restriction within the last month or perhaps 3 months (quarter).

The configuration and procedural details matter.

Any error of omission or commission may cause problems.

Read a few of the links and then start with whatever seems the most applicable and suitable to your requirements.

Try and see what happens. Keep notes and hopefully you will narrow things down to some specific configuration setting.
