I was transferring/backing up movies to this 1TB Seagate portable drive when windows suddenly froze and I was forced to restart the pc. After the restart it didn't read the mass drive anymore and there's this pop-up whenever I try to eject it.

It does show up in Devices and Printers, though (BUP Slim BK).

Welcome to the community, Hxlsey!

I'd recommend you to try the suggested solution in this thread and see if it will help you as well: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2756374/safely-remove-hardware-working-properly-windows.html
Another method would be to try disabling indexing for that external HDD. Here's a tutorial from our kb that can shed some light on this procedure: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=1agXLl

You can also attempt uninstalling the external from Device Manager, so you should be able to remove it safely. Once you plug it back in, it will automatically install again. ( https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc725782.aspx )

Hope it helps. Keep me posted! :)
