Problem for power supply and monitor connection

I have a 15' inch montior. The monitor has 2 cables attached to it. One is a cable that connects to the graphic card slot and the other connects to a power supply.

The problem is that I've just recently bought a new 300 watt ATX power supply and I've found out that the ATX power supply only accepts one cable (which is the power cable) and not TWO. How can i resolve this problem?

get a normal power cabel. It fits the power cabel for the monitor. But now the monitor no longer goes on and of same time the computer does. :(

But if its a fairly rectent model of monitor, it will go onto standby when theres no signal to it, either way, all you have to do is push the button if you dont like leaving it on. Annonying how more and more psu's seem so be missing the pass through cable socket, I use enough sockets as it is and its good to be able to save one.
