Asus Z170 Pro Gaming/Aura is the motherboard.

I just purchased and replaced the ram on my Asus Z170 Pro Gaming motherboard. I can not find a way to change the LED bars on the ram to different colors/patterns. The G.Skill website states that they are Asus Aura Sync ready. I have downloaded the software for the MOBO and I can change the colors patterns on the MOBO and the Gigabyte GPU.

So is there something I am not doing correctly?

G.Skill said they're gonna release software (that can control RGB LED) following in February
So you gotta live with that rainbow poison since the ram default mode is rainbow effect until they release the software i think
And maybe they need an update for mobo to do aura sync I guess

Software is not ready yet, should be available in upcoming weeks. Keep an eye out for updates.

Next ASUS Aura update should have Trident Z RGB support.

ASUS has their own Aura software to configure Trident Z RGB with Aura capable motherboards.

G.Skill will have proprietary software for the Trident Z RGB RAM to be used in any motherboard with specific chipsets such as Intel Z170/270, and more to come.
