Problem in XMP

Hi

I have a problem width XMP. I have Manuali setting the ram to become the 1600MHz ... in the bios the system see the memory on 1600MHz but when i go to Win7 MSI Controll Center then si see thet the memory is just 1333MHz.

XMP is enable, Frequenc is manuali 1600mhz and the full DRAM Config. i have manualy set. (And yes, every setting is good, i have from MemoryZ copy it)

But not working in the system the activated XMP setting.

Voltage 1,507v (manualy, when is just 1,5v the bios have 1333mhz see, the new setting see it on 1600MHz)

Motherboard: MSI 970a-g46 gamer
BIOS: latest 2.60v
CPU: AMD FX 8350 4GHz (Standard, i not have overclock it)
RAM: Kingston KHX1600C10D3/8GX

What can i do to the ControllCenter and the Win7 see the full 1600MHz?

Control Center (I believe) looks at the DRAMs SPD info for what it displays and 1333 is more than like the default boot info that Control center is seeing. Download CPU-Z (free app) and look in the memory tab - it will show true freq running which is half your effective since this is DDR (DOUBLE data rate) so if it shows about 800 then you are running at 1600

Thx it working now just the Center not see the settings, but cpu-z have the 800 MHz

Good to go, most of these software packages like control center are rather generic and more often than not they aren't programmed tuned to the specific mobo and/or BIOS they are put with - best to use the BIOS for changes
