Problem installation FreeNAS 9.3

I am trying to install and set up FreeNAS 9.3 on a computer, and after burning the .iso onto a flash drive, booting from USB, and installing FreeNAS onto an SSD within the computer, FreeNAS doesn't work.

As soon as the computer boots up from the FreeNAS drive all there is to see is a black screen with a blinking cursor that does not allow for any typing. There are no error/warning messages. There is nothing in the UEFI that suggests that anything is wrong. But to solve the issue, it might be handy to know what the problem might be.

Any suggestions?

I'd suggest that for a UEFI computer you should use the latest release of FreeNAS (11) rather than one from 2014.
