Problem installing graphics card

I have a pavillion p6 2010 uk windows 7 premium 64 bit and i wanted a new graphics card so i got one nvidia gt 710 1gb card and i cant seem to get it working please help im new to this so i def need it

Doesn't have a proper BIOS to support the 700 series card , Hp's pre 2012 don't have the ability to run the 700 series and up.....Sorry.

Damn ok well would a gt 610 be ok i dont need a great one just better than the intergrated one

Might be ok , can't be 100 percent when it comes to prebuilts.
