I just built a pc. When installing windows, i got the error "Computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk". Then when i clicked next i got the error we couldn't create a new partition. So i looked for help and found a tutorial: http://windowsreport.com/we-couldnt-create-a-new-partition/ and followed it's exact steps. However when creating a new disk partition prmary, i got the error "data error: cyclic redundancy check" i have been searching for about an hour to try and find a solution to this problem, but i haven't been able to find any solution, and i cannot install windows. These are my specs:

MOBO: gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3
HDD: Western digital caviar blue 1tb
Power supply: EVGA 500w
CPU: AMD fx 8350
Gpu: Asus rx 470

When you got first error, were there any partitions on the hdd? Is this a new drive?

possible fix of 2nd error is to run chkdsk C: /f in Command Prompt off the installer (since you run diskpart I assume you know how to find it)

I don't like windowsreport, every article is designed to get you to download their tools. And they can offer bad advice
