Based on how you mention "wait some time" it sounds to me like the issue lies with the video card itself particularly the fan. The fan on the card might not be functioning properly. If the fan's functional then it could be the video RAM. Test out another card on your board and see if the issue goes away.

If your computer works well otherwise running the game odds are it's a video card issue.
