Problem of Bios and Ram.

Hi everyone,

I have bought two ram sticks separately , Ballistix Sport 4Gb DDR4 2400 mhz. They are exact sames, they are set on the same frequencies. Actually they work in single channel and the dual channel don't update itself as I see in the bios of my motherboard a Asrock x370 Killer SLI.

Can you help me?

Solution
Some boards need to have them in specific slots on the mobo. If you have 4 Ram slots, it might need channel A1, B1 or it might be A1, A2 They need to be installed in. Most likely, you have them in non-shared ram slots, so they operate as single channel. Your mobo manual will have the correct configuration.

Okay now it works, It shows dual into CPU-Z.
Thank you it helps me to understand what they meant with their schem of dual ram or single ram.
Now my NB frequency in CPU-Z is 1197 meanwhile the frequency is set to 2400 mhz in my bios.

Cpu-Z actually reports the ram speed PER CHANNEL. Since you have 2400 Dual channel memory, that means each stick can have a total throughput of 2400Mhz, but each channel actually runs at 1197 (+3 for controller overhead = 1200mhz) per channel, which is what CPU-Z is showing you.
