Problem on laptop

I have a I7 2.4 Ghz 8gb RAM laptop I have been playing games on it for few months but now suddenly I can not play them. Even my laptop lags. It's been six months when I bought this laptop. Is it overheating or virus? My normal temperature is 40-45 Celsius. Games like GTA5 witcher 3 worked fine on my R5 M330 AMD need an answer

Are you doing degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit?
