Problem on Memory card

After I inserted my Memory card on my desktop :
“You need to format the disk in drive X before you can use it.
But when I click format it doesn't format successfully and windows cannot format drive X
Hope someone can help me solving my problem..

Hey Richard. Does this happen only with this computer? You could try to format the memory card via Disk Management or try using a formatting tool (some manufacturers offer such tools for their products, you can look it up on the memory card manufacturer's website).
Note that formatting the memory card will delete any data which might be on it.

I solved my problem, using command prompt in my other pc. I used diskpart and format it.
Thanks for your answers, really helpful.

By the way can I ask you a question about windows 8.1 BSOD? on how to solve it, because I have many times experiencing it mostly often. Hope you can give me solutions on how to solve it. Thanks again Boogieman_WD.

Would you please give me a bit more info regarding the issue with the BSOD? Do you remember doing something in particular before this started happening? What are you doing on the computer when the BSOD usually occurs e.g. playing games, watching a movie, using a specific program etc.? Or anything else at all which might be of help?

This problem occurs for about 4 times,
1st- BSOD" 🙁 Your PC run into a problem and needs to be restart we're just collecting some error info and then we'll restart for you. (100% Complete)
If you like to know more, you can search online later for this error. CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION" or some times KERNEL ERROR.

this happened about 12 hours past after I installed my first time windows 8.1, because before that my o.s is windows 7
2nd- is when I'm using I tunes software, this happened after a week I installed my o.s
3rd is after boot up, after updating avast, but not sure that is the caused of BSOD.
4th time is after installing nvdia driver, this BSOD occur mean while ago on this day.

you can use this if you can read and analyze the minidump ..
