Problem Opening Second HDD In File Explorer

My file explorer can find my second HDD but when I open any of the files located on it, it crashes and goes back to the drive my OS is located. I restarted my PC an it gave and error 22 cannot write (something about appdata on my second drive) I can see the drive but if I try use it closes explorer please help

It would be helpful if you can provide some more information on the issue.

Do you have important data stored on the drive? Is it under warranty?

Also, I believe you can try something like just attaching it with different cables to another SATA port. You can even attach it to another computer.

If the issue persists, you can try to access it with some data recovery tool. After that, some of these tools should give us some information on its health status: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility

somehow the issue has stopped, I haven't done anything but the hard drive did have an OS failure due to multiple blue screens caused by PLAYS.TV but thanks

Yet, I think it would be nice to test it, just in case that there's something wrong with it.
