My case when playing games gets quite hot, and I don't really like that but I'm wondering if it really matters that much as my parts are fine at temps with my 970 being at 75-78C at max when gaming, and my 8320 CPU hits 60C at max.
my case is the Corsair Graphite series 230t in black.

I have one fan at the front that intakes, one at the top that outtakes and one at the back that outtakes, the one at the back and top are the Corsair quiet edition 2 pack and the one at the front is a fan that was built into the case.

Could it be something to do with my CPU cooler which is the hyper 212 evo?
also my PC isn't the quietest, when gaming it can be quite loud which annoys me. What I don't understand tho is my friends PC is cool and quiet by his words, and he doesn't use any fans at all except his cpu cooler which I'm not sure which he uses, although his case is the Corsair SPEC 03.
is there anything I can do quiet my PC down? I clean it out well so that shouldn't be a problem.

Any information/help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Which way is the hyper 212 fan blowing air?
It should, depending on how you mounted the cooler, either blow air up (and out) or Rearwards (& out). Which side the fan is on doesnt make alot of difference as long as air is flowing in the proper direction.

Also verify that the other fans are blowing air as you have described. I use a piece of toilet paper held in the airsteam.

If those are all correct then I suspect you forgot to remove the plastic protective cover from the bottom of the 212 or forgot to apply thermal paste.
