So for the past few days I have been trying to overclock the CPU to 3.33GHz, which failed even though voltage is at 1.25V.
Next step: overclock to 3.00GHz with 300Mhz at 1.2V, failed.
Maybe I'm doing this wrong by just upping only the voltage of the CPU vCore and frequency of it.
Here are the specs of the computer:
RAIDMAX SMILODON w/ 500W power supply
E7300 w/ stock fan from Q6600
Gigabyte EP45-DS3L
2x2Gb of Crucial Ballistix PC6400
BFG 9600GT OC
1TB Samsung Spinpoint
What confuses the most right now is the BIOS to overclock, as I'm use to the EP35 and not EP45.
Here is a list of the options found in the MB Intelligent Tweaker (M.I.T.):
The list of options pass the "Mother Board Voltage Control" is all new to me, so can someone explain what each of those does?
Sorry if I'm asking too much.
