Hi, I helped about 3 months a friend to build his pc, he use this video card
New Sapphire DUAL-X AMD Radeon R9 270X OC 4GB GDDR5.

The problem arise two days ago, he has a monitor connected, and a TV with HDMI, then he change the HDMI cable and connect it to other TV, the PC freeze and then It wont turn on. Sometimes the Processor and video card fan move for a second, but thats all. I tried the VIdeo card in my PC (Same model of PSU I think, just slightly different ut same watts and from XFX) and the problem is the same.

If I remove the video card, the PC turn on, but no video (I think because I disable integrated graphics and I dont know how to enable again).

The components are:

Video Card:
Sapphire DUAL-X AMD Radeon R9 270X OC 4GB GDDR5
RAM:
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 Desktop Memory CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B
PSU:
XFX TS550 550W 80+ Plus Bronze Haswell ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 Power Supply
Processor:
AMD A10-7850K 3.7Ghz Quad-Core Unlocked FM2+
Motherboard:
Gigabyte MB GA-F2A58M-HD2 AMD FM2+ A58
Harddrive:
WD RE4 2TB

Any help would be greatly appreciate. (and if there is a way to enable integrated graphic again thats would be great as a short term solution)

Solution
Seems like it is to me. It is a tier 2 PSU which is good, i wouldn't thing its wattage to be a problem.

if that card didn't work in your case either i would think its faulty.

Im not sure how they are with warranty or RMA, I'll see if I can find how to reset the BIOS to default, you might see a jumper and 2 pins that it needs to be moved to, that resets the bios if it doesn't have a simple button.

I would start with going to the manufactures website, and finding the support TN, first write down model of it, serial number if it has it on it so you have the info when you call, hopefully they can send a replacement, they will help you out with all the RMA info. Sometimes sending a replacement first and return packaging.

Im glad that got you back up for the mean time man!

Allright, I will contact them. Hope that they dont ask too much about receipt because it was from ebay. And Always I will send it to USA because the expensive package have High posibilities to get damage in my country postal service.

Thank you again for your help. and sorry for my english if I make mistakes.

Hi. just to not leave the case open. Yes the videocard was faulty, a friend tested and there is no energy and get hot when he tried to power on. Its seem a circuit damage but not sure, hope that sapphire repair it I open a ticket. And hope that just was a faulty card and not the PSU because its new.
