I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate Edition. I recently bought a broadband connection for my PC. The guy gave me a coaxial cable which fits into a modem like device (unbranded). From there, an ethernet cable goes from the device to the PC.
Problem is, windows shows the connection as two networks. I think this is the reason why I can't share the connection over wifi using Connectify.

I even tried the netsh command using command prompt. It said the network is not in the correct state. It always try to share the LAN connection which doesn't have internet access. A new connection was made using the connection wizard called Broadband Connection 2 which connects to the internet using a login ID and Password.

If you can tell me how to share my broadband connection over wifi or tell me how to select precisely which connection to share using the netsh protocol (preferably Broadband Connection 2 which has internet connectivity) I'd be grateful. Please help!
