You didn't list the error name or error reference number, so it's going to be very difficult to diagnose.

Usual suspects for BSOD are faulty RAM or (more likely) HDD corruption. The HDD corruption can be caused by drive failure, driver corruption, virus infection etc.

Without the error number or name I won't be able to guesstimate what may be causing it.

Does the machine BSOD in safe mode?

It started happening aboout a moth ago but my laptop is only about 3 months old..
Could it be an overload causing this? Could it be RAM? When i bought the laptop they upgraded the RAM to 8gig.. I use Lightroom for uploading pics from my camera, it happened twice when i did that..
How do i check what video card i've got?

It's possible it could be related to the RAM, considering it was upgraded. Download memtest here -> http://www.memtest.org/#downiso , burn the iso to cd and boot from the cd to run the test.
Let it run a good 3 or 4 passes. If you get any errors you'll see them. If that's the case, return your machine to the store and get them to fix it :)
