Problem starting computer after moving components to a different case

I recently tried to move my alienware Aurora R4 setup into a Antec 900 case. After moving over most of it, except for the lighting controls, network adapter and some fans, I plugged in the power supply and tried it.
That resulted in it tuning on, the GPU lit up, the fans started running before it suddenly shut down again, without starting the boot process. The screen was black. Now the power button on the case does nothing, but when I hold a small button on the power supply it starts until I let it go. Still no image or beep code though

One problem is that what seems to be the power cable is a Sata data cable! there are also three small two-pin cables labeled Power sw, reset sw and h.d.d led
where do these actually go? Not sure if I got that right.

The alienware aurora r4 has two smaller cards as well as the mobo, and one of them has a LED light that lights up, so the power supply isn't faulty. It does start when I hold that small button as mentioned

Anyone have any help here? I have no idea what to do... 🙁

My specs:
gainward Gtx 690
i7 3820
1 TB hdd
8gb ram (2gb pieces x4)
Alienware mobo ( really stupid design...)

Warhead0 Nope. The problem is a very basic one.

@OP don't worry, none of your components have any problem. Thing is, you haven't really connected the case to the motherboard, so the power switch won't work.

There are headers on the motherboard which plug in the power switch on the front of the case, the reset switch and the power and harddrive access led's. You need to plug them in for the front buttons to work.

Post a high-resolution top-view picture of your motherboard(all the writing should be able to be read), and I'll show you where the headers are.

Getting the pictures up now, one of the down-right corner of the motherboard, with the pins that i assume are needed, and one of the cables in question.
Just having a hard time uploading them...

Here you go. Just connect as indicated.
Switches are just buttons, so won't matter if you connect them backwards. But LEDs won't work if you connect them backwards.
If it doesn't work, don't panic, nothing bad will happen. Just switch the connections.
Note The colours DON'T have to match. They could, but it's not necessary.

Thanks! That's some progress at least. The buttons and leds are working, but it still turns off again after 5-10 seconds. No image on the screen and no beep codes. Then it turns itself back on again and shuts again, just a repeating cycle...

Could it be that the alienware boards or the motherboard is sensing something missing? The only things I didn't transfer from the alienware case was of course the lighting and the fans, the network adapter and some temperature sensor I think

It isn't really any other manufacturer than Alienware, it is their standard one I guess. Everything I know is that it is 650W.
I might need to ground everything, don't know if that is important. Like the hard drive and the smaller cards

UPDATE: after unplugging everything except the motherboard, cpu and power supply, it still doesn't start... The motherboard is beeping because of no ram, so it seems to be working. also the pc turns on and has power, so I can't see why the power supply would be faulty
