problem starting pc

I can"t seem to access my pc. It askes for 'primary master HDD user password', which iI don't have. I can't seem to enter via any Fkey either. I wanted to set a security pw via bios, but I'd changed my mind and cleared it. Now I think I might have pressed the wrong key after all and entered the pw. However when I entered the pw it refuses it. Eventually I get a message: operating system not found. Can you help? Thanks.
