Problem streaming shows on tplink-tlwn881nd-pcie-wireless-card

I have been using a net gear USB wireless adaptor for my pc for the last while. I usually use it for streaming shows and it worked great, it recently stopped working and I got a TP-LINK TL-WN881ND PCIe. The problem now is when I stream shows it either buffers and I have to reload or it will stop working entirely however when I connect it to my phones hot spot it works fine. Just wondering if anyone have a solution to this problem all answers appreciated

Check for newer drivers for the TP-Link on their support site, check for a firmware update for the router. If neither of that works, try a different adapter.
