Problem when playing games

When i play games at high settings and resolution the games stutter and it is very frustrating. I would like to know what the problem is and if it is fix able.
I have a fx-4100 cpu 7950 gpu and 500 corsair psu and an M5A78L-M USB 3 Motherboard i recent bought a new case because i thought it was a heat problem but it seems i was wrong

Sounds like a CPU bottlenecking issue, the 4100 is not quite keeping up with that beast of a GPU. You "Could" try overclocking it a bit, however a check of the overclocking sites show that board is not real good for overclocking due to its lack of VRM phases. My best guess would be to find a sweet spot on the settings for each game that has good performance or get a better CPU/Motherboard... Either i5 or FX 83xx series.
