hi,please help me,my current system is this:
cpu :core2 duo e6750
P5k mainboard asus
2gig ocz ram bus 800
250gig maxtor hard
one dvd writer
my modem is external

and my psu has 530watt ,on its 12volt rail it has 2 parts,12v1(18amp) and 12v2(17amp),and it supports up to 420 watt on this rail, and on 5v and 3.3 volt it supports up to 185watt,in total on these two rails(12v and (5v,3.3v)) the written wattage number on my psu label is 513watt,and 16watt apart from these two rails, is for( -12v,+5v/sb).I've searched and found out that 4890 uses 22.5amp and 270watt in full load, and according to my psu guide on this rail(12v) my psu can support up to 35amp max.I dont know how much amp other parts(cpu,..)use from this rail(12v) in full load or idle!!!would 35amp max be enough?
but 12v is important, isnt it?and on this rail my psu has only 400(according to the label which has been written on psu) or 420watt(according to its guide),any way, assume it can support 400watt,we should consider the less one in my condition till we know whether it can support 4890 sapphire or not.if in 400watt my psu supports 4890,then in assumed 420 watt (according to its guide ) it defenitly can handle this card, please help me.and my psu mark is green, and you are not familiar with this mark,it is produced only in my country, but it is known and has very good name among users, and has very good quality.and my current psu has only one 6pin cable for vga,I must use a converter (4pin to 6pin) for another power socket of this 4890 sapphire which I think comes along with card in the box, please help me,I dont know that whether I have to buy a new psu with higher wattage or my current psu is sufficent?

A 530W psu can support any single graphics card as long as it delivers good clean power. Sometimes you need one or more adapters, sometimes they come with the card, you will check and make sure which.

Enjoy!
