Hi All,

I'm having some trouble with my new system. I've got an A8V Deluxe,
Athlon 64/3500+ and a V9999GT (VGT). Before the VGT arrived, I was
using an older AGP card with no problems. The VGT finally arrived and
I decided to install the OS. I installed the VGT and powered up. To
my surprise, the system emanated a high-pitched squeal and there was no
video. I powered down, put the old card back in. No squeal and video
was normal. Does anyone know what this is?

Thanks

You forgot to connect a power connector to the card I suppose...

There is no external power needed for the V9999GT.

Oh, my bad. You were right! I found the power connector and connected
the V9999GT to the power supply. All's well now.
