Problem with ADATA External HDD

hello,
i did format my Adata External HD after being attacked by recycle virus, after then i put back the data which was there music & movies. after being formatted whenever i connect it to my home theatre it fail to display the data instead displays no data the storage is empty.
how can you help me?

does your home theater support NTFS? if not then that would explain why it cannot access the data.
