Problem with arris surfboard

Hi I have been having this issue where my Motorola Arris Surfboard SB6141 keeps cutting out the signal, and restarts itself. It happens 2-3 times a day. When it works I receive full bandwidth 36MB download and 6 Upload.


What could be the reason that I am see these issues.
I go to the logs in 192.168.100.1
and see it says : 'no ranging response received'

please someone help.

does it give anything like t3 or t4 timout errors? If so then you likely have a bad connection to modem at some point between modem and your network hub.

Will have to call your ISP. good luck.

it was actually the power output to the modem. The local ISP recommended I head to the place I purchased and re-exchanged the modem power. That solved the issue.
