I'm running Windows 10 on a brand new computer and having a problem getting any mics working on my computer. I have tried Bluetooth and just to plug a headset directly into my front and rear panel.

Plugged in:
When I plug a mic in, it's detected. You can see it here:

If I smack the mic, it picks up audio as well ( you can even see it in that screenshot), but it doesn't pick up anything from me talking. I have tried to plug it in to the front and back mic panel. If I plug it into the headphone jack sound works just fine. I've tried to go into the Realtek control panel to turn up the volume of the mic, but that doesn't affect anything.

Bluetooth:
When I try to use a Bluetooth headset the sound once again plays just fine, but the mic doesn't work. When I go to sound settings it won't even show a test of how loud your mic is for the headset.

If I go to sound control panel, however, it not only shows it there, but shows that it's picking up sound.

I also tried it with my Xbox wireless headset to the same result.
I'm sure the bluetooth and jack problems are different, but if anyone has a solution to either so I don't need to use workarounds to chat with my friends I would be very appreciative!

What version of Windows 10 are you working with? Make and model of your headset? You can parse a link to the headset if you're unsure. Also, what BIOS version are you on for your motherboard? Speaking of motherboard, what model are you working with? I'm assuming it's made by Gigabyte hence why I asked for the model and not the make. If your headset is BT only pairing, you won't be able to avail the onboard sound card's functionality.

Thanks for taking the time to help! Here is all the versions/models. Please let me know if you need any other info!

The OS version is: Windows 10 Home 21H2

The one BT headset is an iJoy logo headset: https://www.amazon.com/iJoy-Recharg...t=&hvlocphy=9014988&hvtargid=pla-492080080533

The other is the Xbox Wireless Headset: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/d/x...Y-ZYaAhnWEALw_wcB&activetab=pivot:overviewtab

You are correct that the motherboard is a Gigabyte; the mobo is a Gigabyte B560M DS3H AC: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B560M-DS3H-AC-rev-1x#kf
