HI. I got a customer that uses Nedbank. When idle there is a notification that comes up saying there is a time out in 5 minutes and it is audible. It works fine on every other pc. I thought it may have been an issue with the laptop (X1 Carbon by lenovo) When the audio notification plays it says "your nedbank session will time out in 2 minutes" but instead of saying it at 1x speed its playing it at 3x or 4x speed so its fast and uninteligilable .. Her X1 actually had a problem with the motherboard so she got another laptop and i made a clone of the X1 to the new laptop and the problem persists.

What i have tried..

Using multiple browsers, chrome, edge and firefox so its not a google profile problem
Reloading audio drivers multiple times on the old laptop
Reloaded all drivers on the new laptop
gone through all audio settings i can find.

It persists and ive tried contacting the bank but it doesnt seem to be the website because it works fine on all other computers.

I dont know how to fix this issue and my customer is getting rather frustrated with it.

I have been trying for over a year to solve the problem.

My customer has a lot of data and apps and they all have their own customized settings.. To reload the system will take forever and creating a new profile is going to cause problems ..

Can someone edvise what i can try find or look at to resolve the problem ?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

List of all connected peripherals.

Wired or wireless network?

Is your customer using any accessibility options?

i found the issue i believe .. i changed the narator to a UK based voice and it started working. I was about to come make a post saying i believe it was the pack in the speech settings..
