So, I recently acquired my first mechanical keyboard, a Rosewill Helios RK9200 with MX blue switches. It's brand new, I've only had it a week or two. I noticed that the left shift key has trouble coming back up compared to other keys and its really bugging me. I took of the keycap and tested depressing the switch, and found that it was the switch itself that was doing it, not the stablizers messing it up. Could this be fixed by lubricating the switch? If not, does anyone know if this keyboard has replaceable switches?

Hi
if its new you need to return it to where you bought it.
Lubrication might help but it may be a broken spring on the bottom of the switch.
All of the mechanical keyboards that I have come across have the switches soldered to a circuit board so are not replaceable without some skill.

It still comes back up, just not as well. Are you sure I should return it?

Its up to you whether you return it but its probably the only way to get it fixed.
I suppose it depends how much it annoys you,but if it was me considering how much mechanical keyboards cost then i would want it replaced.
Because of the symptoms I would suspect a broken or mislocated spring which would mean that the switch would need replacing.
