Hi, I just built a new gaming rig with:
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z270-Gaming K3
CPU: Intel Pentium G4560 3,5Ghz
GPU: Asus GTX 780 TI
PSU: EVGA Supernova G2 750W
RAM: Corsair 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200Mhz
I also use two older hard drives form an old Dell workstation, along with a DVD drive from the same computer.

But I have the slight problem of the CPU status LED on the motherboard being lit up. Also when I start the computer but it doesn't show anything on the screen, the screen just goes into power save mode. I have tried clearing the CMOS jumper but so far no luck.

Solution
Well being there seems to only be one relevant BIOS for that MB I don't think you have the wrong BIOS.

I would power down and remove the CPU and inspect the CPU and the socket for anything odd...and I would reseat it and try it again.

While I was working with bending the pins back I noticed that on pin is cut of or shorter than the other ones, I assume that this means that it's broken off.
Does this mean that I have to gen a new MB?

If it's broken off...it may not reach far enough and it may cause a problem.
But....there is no way to know without trying it.
It may work fine.
It may not work.

If it doesn't work this time....I think it may be new motherboard time.
