Problem with different resolution displays? Please help

I get a random stutter while playing games every couple minutes even if I lower settings since I got a new 1440p 144hz g sync monitor. I run a triple monitor setup with two other 1080p monitors. I'm wondering if this is caused by the different resoltions, and if not, what is it? This is really bothering me. P.S, when the stutter happens, the fps doesn't drop, and if it does it's only like by 5 which is still above 70 fps

A gtx 970 isn't enough for playing demannding games at 144hz even at 1080p. While your monitor has G-Sync your gpu may not always cope with the g-sync range (even if it is for a few miliseconds, so you cannot monitor visually unless using a tool to benchmark). That causes stuttering. That is why minimum framerates are important in benchmarks as average framerate is not always relevant. I suggest doing some becnhmarks on the games you play (FRAPS works good for evaluating a 60-seconds benchmark, there are also other tools).
I could bet that what you need is a gpu update.

There could be other cause (still possible, but unlikely). How did you connect the other two monitors? If one is running from the igpu that could explain the stuttering but I am not sure about that.

It runs fine. At 1440p I get 100fps. Like I said the fps is fine, but the games stutters, even at 100fps

You need to check for the 1% or even 0.1% percentiles in framerates. Check for a guide on how to do that.

I'm playing on my hard drive now instead of ssd, it works fine. That frustrates me because I want to utilize the ssd since I paid so much for it. On Samsung magician it says everything's fine.

I am talking about benchmarking the gpu frame percentiles and frame times. Read these:
