Problem with diplomat

I have a problem with diplomat since two weeks. I have installed "p059"
and "host189". Also I have installed "diplomat246fullinstall" and
updated with "diplomat307".
When I try to run a simulation appears the window "Load VCR file" but
there are no archives .VCR created at the directory SIM or any of its
folders (any part of my computer). I've tried to unistall all the
aplications related to Planets4 and reinstall them again. The problem
continues.
I don't have any problem at looking combats at my games.
Could somebody tell me sometihg about it? Thank you.

Hi Chaos,

I am making some bold assumptions here but:

Have you got VGA Planets4 installed?
Have you got Diplomat installed in the same directory as VGA Planets 4?
(Or at least copied the Diplomat Files into the VGA Planet Directory)

If the answers to the above questions are 'NO' then that is your
problem. Otherwise, I would need more information.
1) Location of VGA Planet4 Install
2) Location of Diplomat Install
3) Exact Error Message Description

Hi Doc.
Everything was installed in the correct directory and didn't work, and
now (today), it does work!! I remember, a friend of mine told me he had
the same problem and suddenly, one day, the problem became fixed.
That is what have happened. I don't understand but it works now. Thank
you Doc anyway.

This could be because Host does not create VCR files for the following
types of fight:

wings vs wings (ie no ships involved)

if no ship is destroyed
