Hello,
i downloaded the CoH game and i tride installing it but it keeps on asking me for the CD. what should i do?

Go to the shop and buy Coh, that will solve your problem.
Do not post on this forum as it is clear you have a pirated version of the said game.
You will get no help at all because this forum has nothing to do with the subject you are asking about. And is clearly pirated software that is condoned by Toms Hardware, and the Admins of the site.

If you downloaded a legal copy via steam or gamersgate, or Direct2Drive, or something similar. I would suggest checking their forums for users with a similar problem.

If you downloaded via steam you might want to try right clicking on the game title in your library list and selecting properties, then go to the local files tab and click the 'Verify integrity of game cache' option. It could be that a file was corrupted during download.

If you downloaded the game off a bit torrent or something similar.................sorry you're on your own

These guys are a bunch of old ladies......It's illegal. Are you joking. They love to support the billion dollar a minute gaming industry. They likely support Hollywood as well. Someone has to buy movie tickets to pay Julia Roberts enough money to feed a small nation. Don't listen to these tightwads. Go over to Thepiratebay.org and read the information on CoH.......And as for these guys, they don't get that in this economy most of us cannot afford games, and then games online monthly fees such as Xbox Live, and then god forbid, DLC. Gaming now has it's hand out at every turn. They are now taking measures to prevent buying USED games. They already made the sale once, but that isn't enough, they wanna make sure EVERY customer is buying direct from them. Like EA, you cannot play their gams online if you bought them used w/o paying a 10$ fee PER GAME. BUt hey, Tom's likes lining the pockets of billionaires. Most big name companies make their overhead back in a day of sales, the rest, good ol' PROFIT in the pocket. Tey would tell you Treyarch needs your help to stay afloat, or in this case, THQ, they don't.

You must like working for free. Some developers just spent years making these games. Do you really think they should get paid nothing for all their hard work?

If you can't afford the game save up for it, get a better paying job, or don't get the game at all. Just because you can't afford it doesn't mean someone else shouldn't get paid for their work.
