Problem with DVD recording

When i try to record music from windows media to DVD it fails by showing the message no compartibility
with the Cd recordable

What software did you use to burn the files? I suggest Imageburn (freeware).

Do you have a DVD burner or maybe only a CD burner? Make sure you have the right format selected (don't use CD if you have a DVD).

And are you trying to make a regular music disk? That won't work on a DVD.
