Problem with emachines emachine et1810-03r

Hi, here is the scenario:
The computer stopped turning on, i thought it was the power supply, i changed it, still didn't turn on. My second thought was, it might be motherboard, changed the motherboard for the exact same model and used the old power supply, now it turns on, no beeps or weird sounds but now the problem is that i don't get a video signal on the monitor, the monitor light is orange and black screen...the monitor works. What should i do next?? Can it be the processor? I'm out of ideas!
Any tips will be greatly appreciated!

if the unit has onboard video pull the gpu see if it posts with onboard video.
pull the ram see if the system gives you a ram code failure. if it does try one stick of ram.
