[SOLVED] Problem with Ethernet port

I recently moved my pc off my desk to clean off some dust and found that upon putting the desktop back, the ethernet cable did not make that clicking noise when put back in. Now, I'm not sure if it did this before, but it doesn't seem to have any effect on the connectivity. I looked at it, and it seems that the cable's locking tab is too long to click into the port, should I be worried?

I wouldn't be too worried. The lock tab does nothing else. If your port is working and you don't move the cables or computer around it will work like that for a long time.
