So I just got fiber optic internet installed. The wifi works fine for the fiber modem. My ethernet however, is unidentified and cannot establish a connection no matter what I do.
Is the Cat5e cable not good enough for the fiber internet, do I need a better one? I have 3 different ethernet cables and they all come to the same problem, they work perfectly fine on my modem with the normal internet but will have the error when I tried to use the fiber optic internet modem. "Unidentified Network" on the adapter and error being "Ethernet does not have a valid IP configuration" when troubleshooting. The Ethernet green light on the modem is on as well "Ethernet 1" . I tried everything on this site as well and nothing worked https://www.bouncegeek.com/unidentified-network-ethernet-windows-10/. Does anybody have a solution. Is it just that I need a better ethernet cable for the fiber modem?

ISP: Bahamas Telephone Company
Modem/Router: Calix 844G-1

Connection path: ISP >> Fiber-Modem >> Ethernet Cable >> PC

Cat5e is plenty for fiber. My guess is the router/modem isn't setup for the Ethernet to give an IP address.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

ISP?

Make and model modem?

Make and model router?

Or make and model modem/router if combined.

How are they connected? Typical line diagram:

ISP === fiber ===> Modem ---- Ethernet cable ---> [WAN Port] Router [LAN ports] ----Ethernet cables ---> to wired devices and ~~~> to wireless devices.

However you mentioned that wireless works fine for the fiber modem which makes me believe that you have a combined modem/router.

Feel free to edit and correct my line diagram as necessary. Include other devices as present and connected via wired or wireless.

Also:

Run "ipconfig /all" (without quotes) via the Command Prompt on your computer.

Post the results here. ( You should be able copy and paste the results without any need to retype it all.)

Right now you aren't getting an IP address on your connection with the Ethernet cable. My best guess is the WiFi is setup for access but the Ethernet side isn't.

This modem/router?

Only one network adapter either wired or wireless should be enabled. Not both at the same and not two of any network adapters barring special requirements.

Disable the Qualcomm wireless network adapter leaving the Intel wired network adapter enabled.

Disable IPv6

On the modem/router change the lease time to more than 24 hours.

Change the DNS Servers to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (Google).

Yea the manual is right, Did all you said but still nothing, n u meant change the intel network adapter dns server right? Im starting to think it might just be a isp problem and I might have to call a tech back again at this point
