problem with explorer

Hello!
When I copies a number of files from folder A to folder B I get a number of
extra copies of the files in the A folder. When I mark the files I use the
ctrl button and mark the files I what to copy. Then I right click on my
mouse and select copy. Then I mark the other folder and selects paste. The
problem is that windows creates a number of copies of the files in the first
folder to. Can somone please tell me what to do to about this?

Your mouse thinks it is being moved.
This creates the copies.
Use Edit, Copy or
Control + C.

After selecting, just press and hold the right mouse button and drag and
drop the selections on the destination folder then release, and then
select Copy.

The solution is a registry edit to make your mouse less sensitive.
Run regedit and navigate to the key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Control Panel\ Desktop

Then look for the values DragHeight and DragWidth; if they're not
there, create them as REG_SZ type. The default values are 4 pixels;
to reduce the sensitivity of your mouse make the values larger, such
as 20.
