Problem with FX 8350, whats the issue?

Basically I bought the 8350 around a month ago and threw it straight replacing the FX4100 and it worked perfectly.
About a week ago I bought the Hyper 212 Evo and NZXT S340 (because my current case would not fit the 212 Evo) and when I rebuilt my whole PC I was getting BSOD on startup with the message "A clock interrupt was not received on the secondary processor ". I made a thread asking what is the issue and I was told the CPU was defective or when I put my old parts in the new case I may have damaged the processor.
So I put my old 4100 back in and it worked perfectly so I assumed it was the CPU right?

Today I got a replacement, the same CPU (8350), put it in my system that still has the fx4100 in it and it still blue screens on startup but this time sometimes it just goes Black and restarts itself and sometimes it will Blue Screen saying "System encountered an uncorrectable hardware error" and restarts.

What is the issue? Is it my Power supply?
If it is the PSU, why was it working fine in my old case?

My Specs;
AMD FX8350
Corsair 8Gb XMS3 x2
Msi 760gm-p21
Sapphire hd 7790 dual-x oc
1TB HDD & 64GB SSD
Corsair cx500

Thanks.

abaday789 called it on this one I think. Even if it was "supported" I would steer very clear of doing it. Get a good motherboard like an AsRock or ASUS M5A99X Evo

yet again your motherboard does not support the 8350. you're putting a very power hungry CPU on a very basic board. you'll be wanting something with at least a 970 chipset or even a 990 chipset if you want your 8350 to work

Preferably go with a board with a 990 chip set as i've had VRM overheat issues on a previous 970 board with my 8350

Is there any cheaper solutions?
I dont really want to spend £90-£100 on a motherboard and then to get it and it still not work

Why did it work in my old case for weeks?

Re-set the CMOS if you haven't already.

tbh sounds like you might have fried your mobo. A £38 mobo with a £130 processor in that is upwards of 125w when in use. plus a chip set that does not even support doesnt sound likea good mix to me

but meh that's just my thoughts try what hello man said

Im using my motherboard now with fx4100

And can you confirm this is not the power supply?

If you look through your boards compatibility list only up to 95 watt CPUs. You put 125 watt CPU in there, and it might gave taken it a few weeks for it to damage the motherboard, or the CPU.

You do realize not all motherboards are equal, there is a performance difference. I'm not sure why you would buy a CPU like that and not get a decent MB/Chipset.

As mentioned above you're scrimping way too much on the motherboard front. You're PSU is more than sufficient for what you have. If your PSU was buggered i don't think you'd even get a blue screen. You will need to look into getting a new mobo plus checking if your 8350 hasnt been murdered by your current motherboard.

It's like buying a Ferrari, getting trash tires with no grip and expecting it to do well when raced. It won't.

Im pretty sure the 8350 is fine, I got a replacement from amazon and I only had it in my motherboard for 5-10 minutes.
I will look to get a new mobo

Thank God, not I can sleep soundly at night. I used an MSI 970 mobo with an 8350 and nearly had a heart attack every couple minutes when I reached down to touch the VRMs
