Problem with G-Skill 8GB Ripjaws X DDR3 1333 Dual Kit

Hi guys, i need help.

I have two 4 gb rams paired in dual channel (G-Skill 8GB Ripjaws X DDR3 1333 Dual Kit).
My pc always boot fine if i only use one, when i use both sometimes it takes 5 or more try to boot ( to make the beep sound) and after that sometimes my pc says i have 8 gb ram (only 4gb usable) and other times it have 8gb usable. My processor is Athlon II X2 260.
Do you know why this happen and what can i do to solve this? Lately its geting rare to be able to boot with the 8gb ram usable.

Your CPU isn't up to running the sticks, try at 1066 9-9-9-24 1.50 initially if that runs smooth we'll try going to 1333

Hi and thanks for the help, my motherboard already had that configuration you told me, so i lower the voltatge to 1.35,the frequency options avaiable were 400,600 and 800 hz,i chose 400. It worked fine in the first boot! both ram detected, however i order meanwhile the fx 6300 to update this very old processor,whats your opinion on the ram config for this new processor?

^300 can easily run 1333/1600 and generally 1866
