Anyone having problems with geforce 2 cards when it comes to image quality. I've just bought a new 19" monitor and at high resolutions/high refresh rates I get something that looks like electro magnetic disturbance (rolling horizontal bands over the screen). The disturbances are not static and differ in severity from time to time in the same resolution. They get much more obvious at high resolutions with high refresh rates however, but I can see them in low resolutions also. The strange thing is that I don't get this problem when using my old Vooodoo 3 card with the same monitor and same computer!!

I have no electronic equipment around my computer and have tested to use different sources of power.

Is it possible that the ramdac of my geforce 2 card is faulty, or can it maybe be my old motherboard's fault.

My system:

P3 650
Abit bh6
Gainward Gf2 pro (have tested with Voodoo 3 also)
Sony g420 (19")

Thanks for all help!

If the voodoo doesn't cause the same problem then Im leaning towards the GF2 card. What manufacture is it and is it still in the warranty window? Not sure what part of the card it could be but I would return for a new one myself if I could.

Crap, all the good ones are already taken.

:)I think it is...
