Problem with generic usb gamepad

Hi everybody, so, i have been using a usb gamepad for about 4 years, never had an issue, but lately, the pc won't recognize it, it just says "Usb device not recognized", the gamepad works in other pc's, it has no brand, sorry for my bad english.

Go into the device manager, expand the USB devices, and uninstall each of the USB root hubs. Unplug the gamepad, and reboot. Once you have windows loaded back to desktop, plug it back in. Let it pick up the new hardware and reinstall the device.
